Buttonwood

Buttonwood began in 1981 with the purchase of a chocolate Labrador who was to become Ch Cinnamon Sam of Windwood. Now 8 generations later we have established our own distinctive line. We take great pride in having a strong sound bitch line, and our males are producing classic Labrador type and the wonderful temperaments that are a hallmark of the breed. Our occasional litters are very well socialized and raised in the house where they get used to all the household noises and smells. Matching a puppy with a new puppy owner is our specialty. Our dogs all live in the house with us, and the dogs we breed have hip, eye, elbow, and cardiac clearances for inherited conditions. We are proud to have bred 11 AKC Champions, 1 AKC Grand Champion, and 11 Specialty winners.

Members of the Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac, Jersey Skylands Labrador Retriever Club, The Labrador Retriever Club Inc., Labrador Retriever Club of Greater Denver, and the Mason Dixon Dog Show Judges Association. Traci is an AKC approved judge of Labrador Retrievers.
